ABOUT AIR KING
Rolex used to be nicknamed the pet name in addition to the model name. The Air King, born in the late 1940s, is one of its pet names. In the past, various variations such as case materials, dials, and bezel shapes were developed. However, in 2014, due to a minor change, the notation of Air-King suddenly disappeared from the dial, and the model name was integrated into the Oyster Perpetual. At one time, the Air King completely disappeared, but in 2016, the new Air King appeared after breaking the silence for two years. The Air-King notation used to be as it was, but the dial has a bold design with Arabic minute minutes on the index and the second hand has adopted a corporate color of green.
