Pilot watchPILOT WATCH
Pilot watch that appeared in 1936. As the name suggests, it was initially built for civil aviation airplane riders. In 1948, Mark 11 was born, the first in a series of marks that continues today. It was issued to a Royal Air Force pilot and worked for a long time. The distinctive design of the triangle index at 12 o'clock is a functional one for instantaneously recognizing the hand position even while operating an airplane, and is still alive with current models. The black dial with luminous paint hands and indexes is called cockpit design and has been established as a representative style for pilot watches. The large conical crown used in the Big Pilot's Watch is designed to be easily adjusted and rolled up while wearing gloves. These details are the reason why they are still instructed.
