1884 Founder Greek silversmith Tirio Bulgari founded Bulgari on Via Sistina in Rome.
1905 With the help of his two sons, the store moved to its current location on Via Condotti.
1932 Sotirio dies. The "BVLGARI" logo, which retains the Latin spelling of the family name, is displayed at the main store.
1940s The company begins production of watches, and launches the snake-shaped bracelet watch "Serpenti."
1950s With the color revolution and reintroduction of the cabochon cut, it became the focus of attention for celebrities around the world during the era of the “Dolce Vita.”
1975 The first watch was released, limited to 100 pieces, with "BVLGARI ROMA" engraved on the bezel.
1977 Partnering with Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux to launch new iconic Bulgari Bulgari watch
