Van Cleef & Arpels Timeline

1906	Founded by Alfred Van Cleef and Salomon Arpels on Place Vendôme in Paris.
1916	Launch of "Touchwood" jewelry.
1923	Create a secret watch in platinum and diamonds.
1925	The rose bracelet won the Grand Prix at the Paris World's Fair (Art Deco Exposition).
1933	Created the vanity case "Minodiaire".
1933	Registered a patent for the Mystery Set technique.
1942	Opened a boutique in New York.
1944	The first Love Birds clip was born, expressing the affection between family and lovers.
1956	Created jewelry for Grace Kelly.
1968	The Alhambra series was born.
1970	The Rose de Noel Collection was born.
1985	The Snowflake Collection was born.
2003	The Frivole collection was born.
2006	To celebrate the 100th anniversary, the Magic Alhambra and Byzantine Alhambra were unveiled.
2007	The smallest Alhambra, Sweet Alhambra, is introduced.
2008	The Perlée Collection was born.
year 2012	Founded "Ecole", a school for learning about jewelry and jewellery, in Paris.
2015	The Seven Seas Collection was born.
2016	A boutique opens on Place Vendôme.
2017	Held an exhibition combining traditional Japanese art and cup jewelry at the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto.
