A new model with a new structure using carbon material has appeared from the Master of G Series "MUDMASTER", which is intended for use on the extreme land where rubble and earth and sand are piled up and scattered.
The use of carbon, a highly rigid material for the case, minimizes damage and deformation due to impact, etc., and ensures high airtightness without a metal button pipe. Furthermore, equipped with a filter to prevent intrusion of mud, it has achieved dustproof and mudproof performance that can withstand harsh environments.
It is also equipped with a stainless steel panel back that maintains airtightness, and a fine resin back cover with glass fiber that is resistant to impact. In pursuit of practicality and toughness, we adopted a design imitating a gasoline carrying can mounted on an off-road vehicle running on rough roads.
The bezel uses a three-layer structure with a carbon fiber sheet inserted into the fine resin. By making the top layer of fine resin transparent, we finished it with a bezel that shows the texture of carbon.
On the function side, in addition to a small sensor that can measure direction, altitude / barometric pressure, and temperature, a built-in acceleration sensor that can measure the number of steps makes it a quad sensor. It facilitates understanding of changes in the natural environment and activity history, and supports land missions.
In addition to the easy time adjustment by linking with the G-SHOCK dedicated application, a "mission log function" is newly installed.
The altitude obtained by the watch and the route obtained by the GPS of the smartphone are automatically recorded in the application. Plot the altitude points obtained by manual operation on the trajectory.
In addition, the calorie consumption taking into account the elevation element is calculated from the altitude + the number of steps, and recorded as an activity log.
In the "location indicator function", if you record the current location on the app by operating the clock button, you can also display the direction to the recording point with the second hand and the distance on the LCD.
