The German state of Saxony, from which the name "Saxonia" is derived, has long been known as a pioneering region in terms of technological development in Germany. Ferdinand Adolph Lange founded the German luxury watch industry here. Each model in the Saxonia family reflects FA Lange's quest for perfect timepieces and its commitment to continuous refinement of its mechanics. The SAXONIA is a historical model that was announced as one of the first reconstruction collections in 1994 along with the Lange 1. The dial design is harmonious and elegant, and the simplicity that eliminates any waste is attractive. The Saxonia cases are made of 18K yellow, white and pink gold, and the crowns, buckles and dials are all made of solid gold. "L941.1" is used for the movement, and the 3/4 plate "Glashütte stripe finish" covering three-quarters of the movement is a design that can be said to be a work of art.
