"Dato" in "Datograph" is the German word for date. A multi-functional chronograph watch produced by German company A. Lange & Söhne since 1999 under the name Chronograph with Date. Many watch experts call it a "masterpiece of luxury chronographs". The Datograph is said to be the best chronograph in the world. It appeared as a derivative model of Saxonia, but now as a collection, it has a special presence among Lange & Söhne's signature products. The reason why it is called a "masterpiece" is because of its multifunctional yet neat dial design. A rather neat dial design. The most distinctive feature and emblem of A. Lange & Söhne is the outsize date at 12 o'clock. The outsize date is a date display function patented by A. Lange & Söhne, with a large window at 12 o'clock. It also has the dignity typical of A.
