The Luminor 1950 case shows the evolution of the Officine Panerai watch case. The biggest feature is the lever lock type crown protector. This loose protector protects the wristwatch from shock and misoperation even under severe conditions. The rounded case and wide, flat bezels are another feature of the Luminor 1950.
