SeikoSEIKO
In 1881, Seiko's roots, Hattori Watch Store, was founded. Eleven years later, in 1892, Seikosha was founded and started manufacturing wall clocks. In 1899, he visited European and American watch factories and set up a mass production system. Factories and sales offices were completely destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, and production and sales had to be stopped. After that, efforts were made to resume operations, and in the new year of 1924, a new brand, SEIKO, was born with the idea of returning to the starting point of Seikosha's founding, "making elaborate watches." In 1969, the world's first quartz wristwatch was released, featuring digital display and digital chronograph functions. We continue to evolve and contribute to a better society and life by developing new watches.
