Queen Marie Antoinette Jewelery shop Chaumet was founded in 1780 by Mari Etienne Nit, who had trained under her jeweler, Ober. Watchmaking has a long history, with the oldest watches in Chaumet being manufactured in 1811. After gaining Breguet's management rights, he successfully restored masterpieces left by Breguet one after another, achieving the revival of prestigious brands. In 1995, he began making watches in earnest, and announced the “Caysis,” which incorporates watches into bracelets, and the “Class One,” which features different materials. With an elegant series and high precision, these luxury watches are literally icons of Chaumet.
